Crystal Cartier's uniquely rich & sultry voice has inspired some to label her a Chocolate Marilyn Monroe with Silky Soul.

Cartier's bluesy-jazz voice skillfully weaves a soulful tapestry of beautiful haunting melodies & thought provoking lyrics that encourages one to cuddle near a warm fireplace with a glass of wine & someone that you love.... or relax in a luxurious candle lit bubble bath while she soothes your mind & soul... or let her work that body! Also features excellent music for sensuous stretches & dynamic dance workouts.

This gifted singer & songwriter has an affinity for heart rending minor chords and hauntingly beautiful melodies sensuously orchestrated with lavish strings, mellow sax, pulsating bass & exotic percussion creating mesmerizing... timeless... & unforgettable arrangements.

Ranging from timeless ballads to dance rhythms & driving African drum beats this is a relaxing & provocative hour of passionate original music masterfully arranged, performed & engineered by producer/musician D.A.Oldis.

This album features famed Blues guitarist & recording artist Sam Mayfield on "She Used to Be Me". Also gospel recording artist/producers Darryl & Danette Carter. The late great Rodney Kindred & Michael Van Lowe play percussion. The multitalented Mr. Dennis Whitmeyer renders a fabulous concert piano performance on "Obsession".

The exceptionally gifted Mr. Henry Hudson plays awesome Sax leads & enhancements throughout the album. This brother can wail!

"Queensize Lover" sends out a powerful message for all full figured women from sensual opening to rapping fast paced end. This song was also featured on the Black STARZ TV Network throughout June 2001.

The pain embodied in "The Honeymoon is Over" reflects passion & exceptional vocal delivery. "Michael" is a dance tune to rock the house.

"Teach Me" a rockin' Gospel tune & "Hello World" are the theme songs for Crystal's TV shows.

Cartier's innovative Gospel version of Ben E.King's "Stand By Me" is moving & inspirational, enhanced by the background choir of recording artist Ron Ivory & the Blue Angel Cheerleaders. The driving vamp & unique rocking transition near the end is an awesome surprise. Cartier's "Stand By Me" is a passionate anthem for these trying times of economic plight, war & natural disasters.

"Bimbo Blues" is a hilarious rockin' down home blues parody.

This album also features Cartier's version of the song "Dangerous" copywritten & released a full year before Michael Jackson's version.

It also provides a free sample of the "Dangerous Remix/Comparison" from the ensuing copyright infringement trial available to the public from the Denver Federal Courts and played on the Geraldo TV show where the audience & music expert all agreed that both songs obviously share the same hook despite the fact that she lost the case.

But Crystal bears MJ no ill will. Her hand of friendship is still open for an opportunity to work with him. She simply quotes the kharmic line from "A Color Purple" "..."Until MJ does right by me nothing he touches will prosper."

This case has been profiled by bestseller books "They Fought the Law" written by Stan Soocher & Chris Andersen's "Michael Jackson Unauthorized".
