and racial profiling

Instead of fighting crime

Harassing young black men

usually for no just cause

They gave you a badge and a gun

so now you've above the law

More crooked than the criminals

that you're trained to arrest

The dangerous enemies you make

I guess you need to wear a vest

Not speaking to the whole force

just a small minority

Who don't protect the people

but misuse authority

Justice never sleeps

so know your day is gonna come

Then you'll get to see what it's like

living under the gun
