Silent Touch

By Roxann "Kujitua Baraka" Latimer Dadzie

I received your letter the other day
Made me stop and forget my way
I thought I'd got you off my mind
But it seems like you on time
cause I realized just how much
I missed your silent touch
You have a way of bringin smiles
Cross distant lands and many miles
Friends and family I have quite a few
But my smile today comes straight from you
Don't let appearances deceive
How I'm living a'int what it seems
The truth is with you I'd rather be
Good times or bad, the love I see
Cause I realized just how much
I miss your silent touch
