That Town

By Yictove

That town that’s empty now

for those who once lived

within those walls

who walked those streets

and shopped in its shiny shopping malls

in that town where water crusted over

and ended a joyful noise

where Bush showed incompetence

him and all his boys

lightening strikes like a freedom bolt

it can be heard in every town

truth is everlasting

can never be buried and hidden in

the ground

that town where children

were treated with such disgrace

children treated so cruel

sorrow was in their voice

tears were on their face

and elderly were weak

and died on a city street

over there bodies was placed

a dirty filthy sheet

in that town where water crusted over

and ended a joyful noise

where Bush showed incompetence

him and all his boys
