the movie "Once Upon A Time in America"

where
laundry hanging across clothes lines
blows in
the wind
simulating
billowy bordello beds
comrades
peer around corners
protecting
their vaginal repository
from
nosy neighbors
and
others who might want to taste
the
sweet nectar
of a
girl not yet a woman
but
knowing of womanly things
quickly
observing
how to
treat a boy
during

teasing
and pleasing
confident
that she has something he wants
even
though she charges him
an ice
cream cone
or a
frosted dessert
with a
cherry on top
she
knows he will come again and again
to

until
the day
when he
calls her that name
that he
will not even whisper now
because
the thought of insulting her
is as
distasteful as
marrying
someone like her
someone
whose eyes sparkle in the moonlight
as he
looks down upon her
he
kisses her lips and imagines her only with him

his pal pulls him off
immediately
